You know you've been to India (or possibly another South Asia country) if...

-you've visited a major tourist attaction but quickly realized YOU were the attraction.
-you have shared the road with cars, buses, motorcycles, bicycles, camels, elephants, cows, and pedestrians, but realized cows always have the right-of-way.
-you have zipped in and out of traffic on the wrong side of the road, going 60 mph, and not been scared, because it is normal.
-you have been served chai over 3 times a day.
-you have read instructional signs (like a street or park sign) in English and had no idea what it meant.
-you have been asked if you understand English
-you have watched a motorcycle crash into a bus...and then watched the cyclist get up unharmed....while hardly anyone stopped...
-you had bread, rice, and lentils at every meal.
-you have waited to turn on the AC until it's at least 100 degrees.
-you have been openly stared at, gawked at, through the car window as if you're an alien or a celebrity.
-you have been to the grocery store and been greeted, helped, followed, checked out, or spoken to by as many as 50 "workers."
-you read in the newspaper that the government is going to begin handing out fines for inappropriate clothing...such as t-shirts that only come to your waist, and pants too low...and then read that this is being supported by the "women's lib" group.
