A couple of weeks ago, my Bible study leader laughingly said she pictured all of the CAP volunteers in our volunteer house being very "put-together"....that we had no trouble keeping our priorities straight...spending time with God and reading quietly in our home, while serving others with the rest of our time. I just wanted to dispel this myth!! Although each of us seeks to follow God and serve others in our own way, we also have alot of fun and do not just sit around the fire reading the Bible and singing "Kum-ba-yah".
Last night after devotion (we do, however, have a 10 to 15-minute volunteer-led devotion each night), we....
..had a pillow fight--boys vs. girls. Lots of screaming and tickling!...which turned into...a snowball fight--lots of tackling and snow in the face!...which led to a game of Scrabble and hot chocolate.
It was alot of child-like fun! :)
In other news...
-Today is the anniversary of the tornado that destroyed my alma mater, Union University, last year. Praise God that the buildings have been rebuilt, no one was killed, and the school is fully recovered.
-Tonight could very likely be Pat Summitt's 1000th win, and she'll be in Knoxville to do it. Everyone should watch this moment in history and one of the best coaches of all time!

I'm pretty sure we had the perfect evening last night and winning at Scrabble made it even better!
