“Early” AM, May 17 (actually around 9:00, but after an hour drive to the office)
(Jenny drives up to office, which is also a voting location, and notices cars and signs directing traffic to voting entrance.)
Jenny (to co-worker): “Why are the voting signs already up? I didn’t know today was the day to vote.”
Co-worker: “Yes, it’s today.”
Jenny: “Really? I thought it wasn’t until May 17th. That’s what I have on my calendar.” (opens her planner)
Co-worker: “Today is May 17.” (laughter ensues)
I need a vacation.
