Praise today

I just got home from a 2-day retreat with my program staff. It was a great time to connect, talk (something we do alot of!), and plan for the next year, and upcoming projects. It only involved 5 women, so it was nice to enjoy spending extra time with people from work. As we were talking, my 2 long-term volunteers mentioned they were thinking of staying an extra year. I could not believe it! One of the givens in our program is that our staff will change every year. This can make things a little inconsistent and training is ongoing as our programs are very seasonal. So this would be a treat!! We are making some changes, and having a solid staff would be an amazing lift. My Ash Wednesday blessing for sure.
